An assessment can be classified as:
When an assessment is created, it would be an untimed assessment. You can change it to a timed assessment by enabling the time limit.
You can add the duration in minutes and hours. The maximum duration of the assessment can be set up to 12 hours.
You can add the assessment date and start time. The assessment will start at the specified start time and will end after the specified duration.
You can also specify just the assessment date. The candidates can take the assessment for the specified duration anytime on the assessment date. If the date mentioned is today the candidates can take the assessment right away.
You can also use the custom window feature to add both the start and end times of the assessment. The difference between the start and end time should be greater than the duration. The candidates can give the assessment between this window for the specified duration.
You can disable the time limit for the assessment. The candidates can take the assessment anytime until the assessment is marked as completed.
You can optionally specify the duration of an untimed assessment. The candidates would still be able to take the assessment anytime but only for the specified duration.
By default, untimed assessments will be marked as completed after 3 weeks. You can override this behavior by disabling the
Mark as completed after 3 weeksoption. If this option is disabled, the assessment can only be marked as completed manually.
